Recruitment Process

  1. Applicants can provide their CV with a cover letter and academic transcript.
  2. The first-round applicants will be by a video call for 30minutes with the Technical Head and CEO.
  3. The next stage will be to meet the company owner and CFO.
  4. Successful applicants will need to hold their current electrical license and have experience in automation and PLC programming. They will need to be prepared to travel interstate for major projects and will also need to work at our customers' factories unassisted.
  5. They will require good interpersonal skills and the ability to talk to our customers and promote Selpak professionally. They must have high motivation, with a strong customer-centric attitude.

Service work will be concentrated mainly in New South Wales and hence the role of a service technician will suit a person who also enjoys meeting people and traveling.

This role will form part of the graduate program, with a person based in each state supported by an experienced service technician, and will enable each successful applicant with career progression into a senior technician role after two years, pending on the individual.

Remuneration & Career Growth

  • Salary will start from $60,000 up to $85,000 for the right applicant and their experience to date.
  • Over time and pending experience, the role will have the opportunity to increase as experience and customer report builds to $100,000 to $120,000 per annum and beyond.
